Possible cheat on US 252 Dallas

Me and a friend were sniping in electro and suddenly two guys spawned behind us, one spawned behind my friend and shot him instantly so I killed him. Then I noticed this one guy with a M107 laying beside me so I killed him too. I looted him and lost my own backpack which I could no pick up again. He carried a pair of night vision goggles, a range finder, a M107 with 8 mags and a Radio. I've never seen a radio ingame before so this is why I believe these two guys were cheating.

After that I tried to pick up my friends back pack but that didn't work, when I tried to pick it up I dropped my M107, and when I picked up the rifle I dropped the bag.

After 5 minutes my friend came back and 5 minutes later he died a very strange death. It was like he was being slapped just like in Counter strike 1.6 but he didn't fly around.

We were on the server DayZ - US 252 Dallas (v1.7.2/Beta 94700) [REGULAR|3DP:ON|CH:ON][GMT-11] dayzmod.com - hoster by Quick-Gaming.net

We encountered this around 04:00AM GMT+2

My Player ID is 15924550

My Friends ID is 12050630

EDIT: I Also looted one PDW and 4 magazines from the guy. Other than what I looted from him he only had the starter equipment which is a bit fishy concidering his high tech stuff.

I didn't get any murder or bandit kill for the guy M107 either.

The DayZ devs said they were going to add radios to DayZ. Does anyone stay up-to-date on the developer's news?

Dean made a comment about the radios during a Q&A session at Rezzed, if I'm not mistaken? I would expect for them to run parallel in terms of operation with the A.C.R.E. (Advanced Combat Radio Environment), mod for Arma 2.

You spawned with a radio very early in the mods release, they exist, but they are extremely rare.

they couldve logged out and just logged in behind you. possinly a hack, but not very likely

I had a radio once.

it was the doppleganger thing, where i dissconected - came back and there was another version of me like an npc just stood there.

He had all the same gear i did but also a radio! so i took it.

Also this happened again, stranglely

i was the other side of the map to our camp fixing up a hilux. My friend said whos that in camp? we said noone was there - shoot him.

When my friend shot the person in question - i died some 200km away lol. Very strange indeed. But bugs like this exist in game and i doubt the radio was hacked in it must of been something similar to what happend to me
