HELP - can see gear on the ground but cant loot

so im in game inv is virtually empty but adn no gun i can see a pistol on the ground can open up the gear screen to take it but when i click the arrow to put it into my inventory nothing happens? this is the same for everything i see on the ground.. any help is appreciated

Try a different server; click on the "Take" button on the bottom right hand. Reinstall the game entirely.

its a good server :( i was picking stuff up only 15 mins ago but now i cant :/

Leave and rejoin the server? Or walk around the loot for 5 minutes until you get the gear option. Thats what I do.
