Help! DayZ Specific Error durning launch

So originally I bought Arma II: Combined Ops on steam and followed the instructions of the installation page on here. I launched the game and i get an error saying "Bad serial given in setup", Only when launching DayZ, this didn't happen with the original game. I've tried re installing and all that crap even doing it manually and it refuses to not work. It pisses me off and every time it does that, it makes me angry that I payed for this game and the mod, ( DayZ being the reason i bought this game, doesn't even work. I am completely open to any help I can get. I'm going to delete the game as and re install it again through steam to start off fresh, Please help I'd like to play with my friend as soon as possible.
