Server Name Changes?

Just wandering what the reason for changing the server names were? All Us servers seem to be named "US". Not too sure of the reason for this? As living in New Zealand i found it easier to use the filter option to look for Seattle servers as they have one of the best pings for the game. Now that has been removed and all servers are based under one single subtext i find it hard to understand the logic in this new addition. Can any one please shed some light on the matter?

Maybe, but seems more of a backward step, i know alot of people use the filter to look for the best ping related servers to there location. Just seems very odd

It sucks. I used to play on Los Angeles servers since I'd get low ping, now I don't even know which ones are based there.
