It's possible, although not officially supported and actually not recommended by the DayZ staff at this time.

its more a rudimentary way, and i guess only good for ppl who want to improve the linux compatibillity

What would be "the way" someone can request an Instance ID for an linux server?

There is no option for using some linux operating system in the signup process - and I don't wanna violate the rules with selection "any" os while using Linux.

I've managed installing the Linux Server with wine inside an XEN Instance running Xvfb - and the Server starts up but not is not fully functionable:

21:01:55 Dedicated host created.

21:01:55 BattlEye Server: Initialized (v1.149)

21:01:56 Host identity created.

If a player connects the connect is shown with playerid and is verified against battleeye.

But afterwarts the client is stuck at "Waiting for host" and shown as "creating" in the ingame server browser.

Anybody also experienced that problem? I'm running the Server directly on an own external IP.

Some suggestions?
