Shot OMSK guys on SCO 60, near the stary sobor uaz spawn. Server shutdown right after he alt-f4'd.

I was playing on a server. A buddy and I were working on repairing the UAZ that had spawned at Stary Sobor. Guy came up from behind and killed my buddy while he was standing guard. I was collecting parts for it when he died. I came sprinting up to see a dude getting into the car... still needs 3 more wheels though so he wasn't going anywhere. A quick firefight ensues, and I shot him with about a 1/2 mag from my M4 without taking a single hit. He flops on the ground. I Ran up and finished him off with a shot to the face, but the death didn't show up onscreen like the others. Not a moment later, the stopped communicating with my client. Only 5 minutes ago i played on the Server SCO 60 with my friends.

After they saw some Enemys they killed both but one of my friends was killed too.

That was not the problem but only seconds after they killed them , the server shut down .

My Friends killed two from the Omega Clan who got their home Server on SCO 60.

Is this rely true? Isn´t it a sort of admin abuse?

Don´t tell me it was lucky that the server was shut down short after that happen.

Because of this now my friend didn´t get his Equip back and the other couldn´t loot the two from Omega.

I only wanted to tell you what on this server happened.

TLDR, admin got shot up and restarted the server... not the first occurrence.

Not much you can do until they fix admins being able to shut down servers instantly. This happened to me too, my friend sniped 2 people at NW Airfield and on my way to loot the bodies the server shut down and we couldn't loot them. It's only in alpha and they have a lot of other issues to fix as well but there are so many exploits and cheating that is really hurting the progress of the game. Hopefully if and when they make a standalone game they have all these annoyances taken care of.

Hello.

I am the owner of OM6.

We currently do have a base with vehicles, and currently we have a GAZ. A red one we picked up in Stary with loads of loot inside it. It required 3 wheels and me and my friend repaired it and drove off without being fired upon, hassle free. From what I was aware of there was no firefight or recorded death of me and my friend during that time as I was there the whole time. I would also like to add chat is disabled in my server, and it has been for around 2 weeks, meaning that the part where the names never popped up in chat is very strange.

We also recovered a GAZ around 3 weeks ago, so I have no idea where you are getting that from either. I must also add two days ago our server was down for a good five hours or so due to maintenance. Also, just as a note, I have not died in around four days, last time I died it was due to debug spawn, and I am the only one with access to the Control Panel & RCON Password.

Anyhow, as you seem to be wanting to land us in the shit, I must also add you cut out the part of the response I made back to.

I was browsing the forums when I came across this report, I am the owner of OM6, which is the clan that owns and is based on SCO 60.

Our server is very new, and is also very unstable. The server is currently shut down by my command as the server crashes every 5-20 minutes and throughout thus has major desync and lag. On Saturday morning, when this started I sent a ticket to the host explaining the issue, I havent had a response since.

I am the only one who has access to the server console & commands and I have been away on holiday for the past week, so the only viable explanation is these frequent unforeseen crashes.

I too have lost things due to these crashes, a rare heli crash, Many items & parts stored in our vehicles was deleted. Our chopper was crashed, killing the whole group aboard due to the desync.

I hope the server gains stability and we can all play happily on our server again, as we are currently paying for downtime./

I am afraid you are either mistaken for someone else, or trying to grass us up.

SCO 60

My buddy and I heard gun shots on the North West airstrip after we heard a helo. Server reboots, and we go to find the helo after the server comes back up, and they take fire yet again, and server goes down. Server comes up 30 minutes later, and its just 3 sco members and my buddy and I. We see them take the helo, fly the helo, and crash the helo. Little did they know, we looted their bodies, but they do this bs all the time.

I keep seeing 20+ admin abuse threads every day with legit reasons to blacklist ran by 10 year olds but rocket seems to be afraid that server count will be too low

There are alot of admins who cant handle being shot or anything. And since they have the power to do what they want and against the hosting rules.

I can actually confirm we had unknowingly recruited a member that was using Hacking Software to spawn helicopters & cars, like some of you mentioned about the vehicles and the helicopter crashing and restarting ect. Hacking member was banned from all conduits of OM6 around three days ago. I was unable to ban him on the server however.

I have been extremely busy with course work and have not had time to play DayZ recently, and I have not died in around 14 ingame days. I cant also believe how imbecilic and bias you could be to possibly pinpoint hacked vehicles on myself when I can barely even afford to keep the server up.

I heard some of my members speaking of the chopper incident, the hacker who had spawned it was driving at that point and his game crashed killing everyone onboard, this was only a few hours before he was banned.
