Seems like no vehicles spawning on my servers

Been all around the map and haven't found anything, same with everyone in my group

Is this possible? Could there be a setting causing this?

I found a pickup yesterday on my server.

I had 2 Picks ups, 3 UAZ's, 2 Buses, and 3 Civilian Cars. Also had a helicopter. We obtained all of it with a 3-4 man group. It's just a matter of finding the stuff and setting out on "Fixing operations".

We've been looking, checked all the airfields and about 8 towns and nothing

we have about 7 active people running around for 2 days now and havnt seen any, its very odd.

If a server is using the wrong mission instance ID, then no vehicles will spawn.

If someone else uses the same instance as another server, it will cause problems and vehicles will appear and disappear on both servers depending when one of them gets restarted.

If a mission starts and 50 players flood in, click Continue, and all load the mission at once, the server will probably experience dsync and everyone will see red chain for a minute. That usually causes the vehicle/tent initialisation scripts to time out, so they don't spawn. After the red chain goes away, everything else is okay with zombies and loot later spawning, but vehicles won't appear until a server reset. We lock our servers sometimes and let the server load with less than 10 people in, then unlock it after we've allowed enough time for tents/vehicles to spawn.

Hmm, I wonder how I would narrow that down. I think something is definitely wrong because we have a large group playing for the past 2 days (time they have been up) and no one has reported a vehicle

Any way to find out if its the mission instance ID?

DJ Khaled. Next time you get chance, Close down the server exe, hive and hive auth.

Restart them in this order:

1: HiveAuth, then wait for it to connect.

2: Hive, then wait for it to connect.

3: Then start the server exe, and wait for it to create your server.

You should then see HiveAuth say something like Try...Put...Get..OK a few times, then stop. Hive will then say something like Ping...Pong.

Then when your server starts the game properly (allowing people to load in), Hive and HiveAuth will continue with normal connections.

Give it a go and let me know.

I'm pretty sure I also have this issue, vehicles seem extremely sparse on my server.

How can we know if someone is using anothers instance id? The way they are setup it's not difficult to guess another id. Why don't we have UUID's instead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universally_unique_identifier)?

I would like to ask people who have found vehicles to give some rough areas to look for them just because so far in all my hours, I have found one boat and one helicopter. I have searched most small towns as well as Cherno and Electro and around them in the fields, too.

So please list possible spawn locations where there could be some spawning as I am now curious if I just keep joining weird servers with minute spawn chances.

Check your server's RPT file from config dir.

If it has following lines, then there is vehicles spawned.

There is basically two reason why they wont spawn.

1) HiveAuth issue. When you start server and first player join into the game, your hive auth client will connect to master database and you should see some "TRY!.. PUT!.. GET!.." lines. If these lines are missing, it wont spawn anything. So your hiveauth needs to be running and not freezed when server (mission) starts.

2) Dev's have been quite busy and they have not got time to add vehicles into your servers. Every server needs own vechile spawnpoints. I don't know it they have still keep this, but some weeks ago they made all spawnpoints manually.

One thing I know for sure, Choppers wont re-spawn always if they have been crashed.

We had 2 hueys in our server, they did crash and now there has not been choppers for two weeks. So, do not crash em ;)

I've managed to fix the HiveAuth issue by replacing my mission instance files. After loading the servers I checked the RDP files and tents are definitely loading in:

Yes, it means dev's have not got time to do it into your instance yet.

You just need to wait until they get em configured.
