Space_Cadet 1 Posted July 12, 2012 A mate and I were playing on Atlanta 77(DayZ 479 now) and the time changed from day to night in seconds? Is there a reason for this?

orwisch@web.de 13 Posted July 12, 2012 sure, but only a server restart can do this (in a secound)i have the same on my server, after a few hours of running, the server doesn t run with the correct time for new players.Example:The server was started at 08:00 AM GMT. If u connect to this server u have 08:00 o'clock ingame aswell. Player 2 connect at 09:00 AM GMT ingame time is set to him 8:00.If the server runs longer without restarting the lapse of time ll be bigger and bigger.Perhaps u connect at 9:00 PM GMT, the ingame time is round about 1 PM GMT.This means new player have daylight while longer playing players have night.when the server restart, the time ll be set to servertime 9 PM GMT = night for allthats nothing to do with admin abuse. Levias 28 Posted July 12, 2012 Same to me. I'm getting two weird things. First off time will be set randomly sometimes after a server restart. So a shutdown -> restart in that order fixes the problem. And second me and some friends got different times shown at the server (ig clock). So it was bright day for me as it was dark for him. Very confusing. I had to restart the server multiple times. But it started to flip around since 1.7.2 is installed.
soppa 39 Posted July 12, 2012 if you abort to lobby and log back into the game, your time is set backwards.its been like that forever, no id if they get it fixed.
