DONT NEED ARMA 2 TO GET DAYZ

I have wonted this mod for ages and when i found out that you need ARMA 2 i was so disapointed so my suggestion is that it could just be a single game and you can download it from the internet because it would be so good so plz take this to mind

Seriously.

Its not a standalone game. Its a mod for Arma II. There is no such thing as a dayz game or even a graphics engine or anything at all. And for the first time BIS is making good profit on arma 2. So yea they'll just make their game free so people can play a mod.

There has been talk of making DayZ a standalone game in the future, but the game is currently in an extremely experimental ALPHA stage. You will probably be waiting a long time. Arma 2:CO is not all that expensive, only about 20-30$ depending on where you shop, and the core game is pretty decent as well. If you really want to play DayZ its well worth the money in my opinion.
