Lose of gear and my postion moved when I log onto a different server.

Hey guys! I am having a few issues as of today where by I am currently on one server playing solo on my own and then I want to go to another server to play with a few friends of mine. I log into the server that they are currently in and I end up at the bottom near the beach with no gear as if its like I have to start fresh again.

Althought when I log back into the previous server that I was on im still in the same position that I was before with all my gear.

The servers that im going on are all up to date ones as of 1.7.2 (correct me if im wrong) So im just really puzzled by this. Anyone else experiancing this or is it just me? :(

One thing you should know is this: if you're playing on official DayZ servers, your character, gear, and position on the map will be saved through all the other official DayZ servers, but they won't be saved on the non-official/private servers, and this is probably the case.

(The private servers will be shown on your server list, mixed with the official ones, so maybe you just couldn't tell the difference? It happens)

If you're playing on a non-official/private server, your stuff will only be saved in that server, and nowhere else.

I could be wrong, but you might want to check this out!

Cheers for the fast reply Fenrig! If it helps at all the server that I currently have my gear on is BE 1 with a UK location flag on it running a 1.7.2.

Is that an Official one or un Official. If it is Official then what I currently have is possible a bug? or if it is un official then theres my reason answered for straight away!
