Questions for good bandits

I want to be a bandit but shit myself whenever i see another player so its hard to become one <_<

1:i dont know how to use a sniper (never got a chance to get one) so is there and winage or bullet drop?

2: Is being a bandit a free for all? like bandit vs all even other bandits or are they on a team?

3:What are some of the best bandit weapons, i can really only find pistols and hatchets (asking for good weapon areas)

4:If your pray battle logs and joins another server are you fully screwed?

I think those are my only questions, any tips to help stop being a such a pussy or to become a good bandit are appreciated :P

1- snipers have dropage, use the zeroing for most default pg up and down. ex: set zero to 400m and ull hit direct at 400m, but if target is 500m ud need to aim a bit high (or just switch to 500m zero)

2- of course other bandits kill each other

3- not pistols and hatchets

heres a map that shows loot for all buildings and can guide u in the right direction toward finding some epic loots instead of empty tin cans and wood piles

Generally there are many ways to play bandit.

You can just FFA or you can group with other bandits if you know them. Mostly they'll just kill you on sight so unless you're friends with them.

Snipers are quite simple to use depending on what snipers you find in game some of them has Zeroing which you must adjust based on your distance from the target. To know the difference you can either get a rangefinder or just set a mapmarker at the target if you know his exact location and the server has map marker enabled.

The best bandit weapons are probably the DMZ as it is the only sniper that works with Nightvision. Another alternative for close range is the AKM because it is really high in damage. These are all based on my opinions and there is obviously weapons on par with these.

judging by your questions...you havent played the game long enough to be confident in just navigating and surviving, when you have mastered all of this and can get northside without dying and some decent weapons. Then and only then can you start thinking about 'banditry'. Killing someone in a barn or something isn't being a bandit :P that's just surviving.

I think after some time a lot of people naturally become bandits/aggressive survivors. If you see a guy running at you or some one close to you who you don't know, most of the time you are going to shoot them.

One time I was near a popular town and saw a guy in the woods with his binoculars out and afew smoke grenades going off in the town below. Did I stop and greet the guy and ask hows the bird watching? No, I blasted him dead, told another friend of take out the guy in the town and we shared out the loot. Does this make us bandits?

With nerves, I think everyone gets nervous playing dayz. Thats unless your totally disconnected from the game, which I don't think most people are. When a target pops up you have to either take him/her out asap or think of the best tactics to get to him and take him out.
