Zombies in villages lacking supplies?

Help me understand why there are zombies spawning around buildings and villages that are lacking supplies.

I scoped out a village from afar and found it filled with zombies and not a single building, house or farm that I could enter.

Why?

I'm not going to risk getting myself killed by trying to take out some Zeds, so what other reason do they exist?

Let me guess, because this is an, 'Alpha', right?

Because it is alpha yes. I've ran into three villages out of 4 and only one building was lootable....I was pissed. But yes i understand how you feel. Just give it a couple months because this game isn't going anywhere.

Zombies have a chance of spawning basically around every building or structure in the game. However, not all buildings or structures spawn lootable items. This is why some villages have lots of zombies but no loot. I think it makes the game more fun, because after a point you start learning which villages to dodge, etc :)

Stay away from vybar, me and my friends fired one shot and it came like 100+ zombies haha :D
