Military Flashlight

is there a way I can change the color or perhaps the range of the light?

the regular flashlight is easy to see things with. but the military one is just as revealing to other people but harder to see with

The military flashlight is designed to be used in groups where other people have Night Vision. Because NV's are green, it doesn't appear on the spectrum. At least, it's not as annoying when you are in a group.

AFAIK there's no way to change color or range of the light, sorry.

I haven't been able to test it but I'd think it might be more useful to use a regular flashlight to blind someone with NVGs and by you time to drop a bunch of flares...

Apparently the military flashlight doesn't produce a cone of light, so you can see the lit area but not where it's coming from (unless it's pointing at you). Not really tested it myself.
