hershelsfarm 1 Posted July 11, 2012 So after battling the horrific glitches of 1.7.5 and the chaos of 1.7.2 finally managed to log on for 45mins straight - on this journey started in the small area outside three valleys crawling through the undergrowth towards a building managed to aggro some walkers - only one thing to run for it I thought - running through the woods managed to make it up a steep hill and loose the walkers - found a tower climbed it and looking around discovered a hidden tractor packed in some bushes - so after so careful and tactical crawling made it to the tractor. Awesome I thought as I looted it finding beans binoculars and a Winchester with plenty of ammo, finally the dreaded beach hatchet deaths would be behind me. Or so I thought, why not drive a tractor I said, it'll be fun I thought so testing my luck I jump in start it up and boom I'm off down the hillside tearing towards the city... When all of a sudden boom and I'm out of the tractor on the floor and 200....150....85... Dead. So long tractor, hello hatchet beach... After a couple of days with not surviving for more than 10-20 minutes I took a different angle this time. It worked. This morning I looted Cherno. I did everything in the darkness of the night. Throwing around flares to mess with other players who were probably on a manhunt. Got guns, a map, compass, hunting knife axe, cans, beans, the whole shabang. I even found a tent! With it I started my journey towards the nw Airfield. Looting Stary Sobor and every deer stand on the way.When I arrived at the airport several hours later I raided it, hoping for a nightvision. But all I found was a horde of zombies following me into barracks. I almost died. With the guns I had I could kill em all until I had no ammo left. With less than 2000 blood I managed to stop the bleeding and heal my broken bones. Time to GTFO but this time with a super annoying blurry vision and passing out every 30 or so seconds.I knew that there were two options left. 1) die and restart. 2) find a cow and kill it, get meat, get wood (what she said), start a fire, cook and feast on flesh like a Zed. I chose the latter and wandered around for hours until I found a sheep and later a cow. Damn blurry sight gave me a headache but I survived!After that I raided the airport twice with almost the same outcome. Then I decided to travel to the east, hoping to find something cool. Like a helicopter crash site. Instead I found a tractor. After almost 8 hours of playtime today, without dieing once, I found this tractor. I told my girlfriend to come and take a look at my new tractor... How cool it is driving it around in the forrest with high speed...When all of a sudden boom and I'm out of the tractor on the floor and 200....150....85... Dead. Fuck you tractor. And fuck you girlfriend for laughing so hard at my rage.PS hopefully now I can sleep. Putting it all behind me. It's just a game. Pretty fucking awesome game!
