Camera lag?

Hey guys, I just bought arma 2 to exclusively play Dayz because I've heard good things about it!

There is one problem though for me, no matter what quality my video settings are on I get 'mouse lag'. My computer is more than capable of running this on very high.

my specs are:

gtx 460

quad core i7 @3.2

12 gig ram ddr3

Is there a reason my camera is not immidiately responsive with my mouse movement? I have a wired mouse, it is not wireless.

also, how do I go in third person? I've not found out how in the controls :(

Try turning down "smoothing" to the right of the inputs in the control options.

And you go to 3rd person by pressing the Enter key on the numpad.

mouse smoothing in game options > controls > right side

slider to the left

then in arma2oa.cfg change this line

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000;

or any other value if you altered it already

to value

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
