FooFighter (DayZ) 1 Posted July 11, 2012 We keep coming across a Hacking duo on Atlanta 42Their names are Mr.Potato and PhilBasically we keep coming across them and we kill them every time then they spawn back in at the Exact same place with the exact same gear, we often kill them more than once in around 40 seconds, and they keep spawning back in. Hopefully the admin of Atlanta 42 sees this thread and can ban them from the server, I don't know how to contact the admin but the server is hosted by Andrew Angel hopefully someone can get in touch with the admin and let him know these hackers are ruining your server for us. hopefully you can get rid of them, we really enjoy Atlanta 42.also whenever they die it says "Killed by friendly Fire" that is a dead giveaway.Thank you.Mr.Potato: http://imgur.com/qUWyvPhil: http://imgur.com/NVVnG
peke_kantsi@hotmail.com 36 Posted July 11, 2012 They are at debug land killing "clones" of players. I think it's not hacking just exploiting.
agL 0 Posted July 11, 2012 I've encountered this problems before but on a different server. They seem to respawn on the same spot where they die or near it. I think it has something to do with the client-side version of the game since it happened to a friend of mine a weeks ago. If I see anything like this when I'm on I'll take some action. Thanks for reporting this.
pilot 13 Posted July 11, 2012 This is due to not updating but joining an updated server. It is extremely easy to do even on accident. Not sure if it should count as these people were likely just ignorant of the new update
FooFighter (DayZ) 1 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) @TheXenophobe I am telling you it is a script or whatever, We killed them 3-4 times each time, and this happened at least 3 times to us with the same people. It is not an accident they are scripting or hacking. It is way to frequent to be a mistake. Edited July 11, 2012 by FooFighter
