Demo Vs Arma2

Not been able to find any images but does anyone have any images that would show the difference in textures between using the demo and full version of arma 2?

by "demo" you mean ArmA Free, I presume? (which is indeed listed under demos in Steam)

YOu cant use ARMA free with dayz, just FYI

The Day Z textures come from PMC (for survivors anyway) so you won't see a change until you buy that.

That is what I typed. The point is that you can not use jsut ARMA free to play DayZ. Why are you making this an issue?

my apologies, i thought u meant you couldnt use arma free to play day z even with oa

To clear up the confusion in this thread, ARMA2FREE does work with dayz, but you must purchase Operation Arrowhead regardless. It does save you 10 dollars, but you take a small texture hit. Ignore the people telling you otherwise, my friend that i play with uses ARMA2FREE to play dayz.

That said, the texture difference is not a huge deal. I do not have any comparison photos, however. The biggest difference is that the player models are blurry looking texture wise, but it looks fine otherwise.

Thanks, it's fine now I managed to find a video (i linked it on page 1) that did the comparison :)
