Hatchet wont come up when i choose it.

So im not a new to DayZ but since the patch where i spawn without a weapon, i find alot of hatchets but whenever i choose equip, it wont bring the hatchet up.

So you've removed it from your toolbelt by selecting the drop down option and it still doesn't bring it up?

Nope, it only shows chop wood or drop from toolbelt.

Click the remove from toolbelt, it works that way.

Select Drop from Toolbelt, it gets placed into your primary weapon slot. Should you have a primary weapon, I'd advise to stow that away in your inventory first.

Once you have the hatchet in your hands, "reload it", then you'll be able to attack with it.
