What to do ? Server locked ! lost our camp ?

Hello everyone,

What can you do if they locked your favorite server for like a week ? We had a nice camp with lots of rare loot in it. We played allot to gather all these items and weapons but now the server is locked and a password is required to join. We decided not to play anymore until the server is open again but to be honest i don't think this will happen any time soon. We survived ambushes, tent wipe out, bugs, glitches and admin abuse but right now we just can't find a way to get our stuff from the camp since the server is locked. I've been told that it is against the rules to lock a server but is it really worth to report it ? I don't want the server to get black listed or anything we just want to be able to get our stuff from the camp and move it to another server if needed.

Any advice what we should do ?

You should contact the server host, and if all else fails, submit a complaint against their server and if lucky it'll get blacklisted. Perhaps they have a reason behind this lock? As I said, best thing to do is contact the server host and ask for an explanation.

There is no reason for a server host to lock a server... EVER. It's 100% against the rules and it'll most likely be blacklisted if not given a stern warning.

I'm trying to get in contact with the owner but it's not that easy because it says hosted by Markus DayZ | Gamerisle not sure how to get in contact with them. I don't really want everyone to suffer by blacklisting this server I just hope they can unlock it for a few days so we can move our camp to another server.

It can be locked down for security reasons and or because of maintenance with host/if HIVE is unresponsive and is wearing out. ;)

Not sure if it makes any difference but the server have like 3 players online, same names everyday for like a week. To me it seems like it's locked to play with friends only.

Server shouldnt be locked for that amount of time.

Report them, server needs blacklisting.

By the way.

Dont get too attactched your gear, your gonna loose it. Dont hoard loads of gear either its abit retarded and takes the fun out of the game. Plus you will end up crying like this on the forums when you loose it or the server goes down.

I'm aware of that but it's hard to not getting attached to your gear in a survival mod :D specially if you found rare loot with your friends by playing for weeks.
