kajonna 8 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Hi guyshad the same yesterday, I collected stuff, then relogged couple of hours later, just to find half of my gear gone. However still happy, as i lost only bits no major loss. :)Could be to do with server instability i tried like 15minutes to log in on one. Also heard that serverhopping could affect it. moriak 35 Posted July 11, 2012 looks like in 1.7.2 your progress doesn't get saved sometimes.. could be related to the hive rollback or something, don't knowanyway it is a known issue and there are already a few threads about it in the bug reports section
species5021 28 Posted July 11, 2012 Yep, the new patch can cause you to lose some of your stuff. It has also been reported by people that they lost some or all off their vehicles.Generally though if you put stuff into a tent or vehicle you will need to click save in the roll menu when you are facing it to save items stored inside. On a side note, vehicles and tents will not travel with you to other servers! Condork 2 Posted July 11, 2012 Could be due to the server itself, for some reason some servers seam to run on a different database, forgot there names but I can do whatever I like on some and on some other servers I can play a different character.
Wentworth Miller 5 Posted July 11, 2012 so been playing for 2 hours or so shouldnt be enough?. allso doesnt the items u find carry over to other servers?Hello Vendicta, yes your inventory is carried over provided the server is not part of a private hive. If you created your character on a private hive then it is exclusive to that particular hive so server hopping won't carry over your stuff.
