Climb down the ladder and bolt for the nearest building/object to lose LoS. If you can find a building with two entries that would be perfect. You should lose any on your tail fairly easily that way. Then hopefully you can stroll away like nothing ever happened.

Smoke grenade? Tin can? Whiskey Bottle? Shoot them? Make a B-line to the nearest building?

If you are on a roof, just throw a road flare or smoke grenade downwards - it'll draw most of them away.

just book it, if theres no buildings around just use a steep hill and zig zag up it, then crawl away.

Jump! You will be rewarded with full blood and all zombies will disappear (with a small chance of a broken leg and five zombies fondling you while making eating noises).
