Friend Crashed When Joining Servers

Heyo,

The game runs perfectly for me, but not so much for a friend of mine. I tried helping him with some common errors, but he had been studying the game for a few days and did what he needed to do to prevent most of them. Maybe you guys can pick something out?

Problem:

"Everytime I try to join a DayZ server, I crash after entering the screen where you can see everyone's names" So, he crashes at the lobby.

He also gets the "Missing CA Building Parts" bug.

Before you ask/say it:

He is launching CO

He does see @Dayz on the right side of his screen in-game. It is enabled.

He's using the free version of Arma II and a paid steam version of OA.

Any ideas?

Problem fixed. He ran the game through the launcher and it worked.

I have the exact same problem, had this problem for a week and still been unable to sort it out
