Ziliphade 20 Posted July 11, 2012 If you have played this game for more than 2 seconds you'll know what this is about just from the thread title.Can we PLEASE for the love of god have a way to prevent people from instant disconnecting (or alt+f4'ing) when in the middle of a bad situation?i was at the cherno generel goods store today, i heard somone shoot somone else, waited in store, guy came out, he didn't see me, i shot him. I whent to loot the body but NOPE alt+f4 and it dissapeared.Another example is if your in a fire fight, your opponent misses some shots, you hit him once ALT+F4.Zombies after you? well no problem, like at all, just alt+f4.Perhaps you could make it so its impossible for them to disconnect in any way shape or form when they can be seen by a zombie or player?I don't know anything about programming but i would love something like that put in.Maybe even have a bigger penalty besides passing out when you log back in? Like if you disconnect WHILE you're dying then log back in, it will kill you instantly and your body will stay on the server for a set amount of time so whoever rightfully killed you (or ate your brains) gets a reward.Now just so people don't get the wrong idea, i don't want disconnecting to be impossible, just not in a life or death situation, all want to strive ahead is gone when you know they will just leave. If you use the search function you'd probably notice about hundreds of identical threads, you might want to check them out. Rocket has promised to patch this out in the future and all we can do is pray and wait, hoping this becomes a priority on his list (albeit the performance issues are a bigger problem, at least for me)We'll manage for now, no doubt about it, but when they implement some sort of anti-disconnect system, it will change the game, believe me.
