mrthames 1 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) If you are looking to rent a server, ViLayer is the host you want. Their servers are steady and fast. They also have great customer support. Johnny, Lee, and Jeremy have taken care of me numerous times and each time was a success. I have nothing but good things to say about them. If you are considering renting a server, be sure to go with ViLayer. You will not be disappointed.P.S. If you order a server or submit a ticket, you will get a response. Keep in mind this is a crazy time for this game and the server hosts. They have a lot on their plates at the moment. With this said, just be patient. They got back to me in good time. terraknight 11 Posted July 11, 2012 Indeed, I could not agree any more then this, Vilayer is THE best server host for DayZ, sure, they had a little "problem" a week ago or so, but on the other hand, ALL of us who was affected got a reimbursed a week, so I'm damn happy and impressed with these people.Only thing I could wish for more is if they put their TS on their website somewhere... But for some reason i cannot start my own thread.The thing is that my server is stuck in a "creating" mode.. it seems online and all but the status does not change from creating to playing.I've tried a vilayer ticket 24hrs+ ago, no answer.Tried to message Johnny on Skype, no answer.So i see a few other servers who are in this state, but most seem to get to playing eventually.. mine does not.Can someone shed some light for me? what is going on? They got swamped with 190+ tickets in the last 72 hours and they are working through them as fast as they can. I asked before and they said it would be a couple days worth of work. Just be patient. Understanding that they're swamped, I'd like to know how long it took for you folks to get your servers set up?Additionally, I didn't see anything on Vilayer regarding Clan/Shared payments. I wonder if there will be something like this offered by them in the future? It'd be more kind on my wallet ;)For the Vilayer guys: I think it would be beneficial for you guys to set up a FAQ that answers some of these questions.
