armaX user can play now??

well i got armax and im stuck in loading screen every server every try! no matter what i do ....

so now im wondering did i do sumthing wrong or is it sumthing i cant fix or is it for all armax users ?

im rly want 2 play again , since 1.7.1 i wasnt rly able 2 play(only on old beta) :( thats 3 weeks now ...is there any hope for me as armax user? or do i have 2 buy the single version? cuz i dont wanna w8 a nother few weeks ...i would rather buy new version

so it would be rly nice 2 tell us what we can expect when it gets fixed?

After all the waiting and so called testing it's fucked :( I managed to get into 1 server yesterday and it's asked me to create a new player.

I could play fine on 1.7.1.5 with beta patch 93965 but after reading rockets lie changelog saying ArmA X users can update i stupidly belived it was fixed.

Vipeax said that he had bought a copy of ArmA X for testing but thats either a lie or incompetant testing.It isn't working and all player stats are gone, all the weapons and loot is gone so do not update.

There is a new hotfix (1.7.2.1) being tested as of 10 hours ago. Hopefully this fixes your issue.

Thankfully the build is still in alpha state. If this is seriously affecting you, I suggest coming back when the beta build is released. Hopefully testing the beta build won't be as troublesome as it is for you now.

I got it to work. I installed the 94700 beta patch from here: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

and the experiemental 1.7.2.1 patch from dayz: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/28806-experimental-1721-test-patch/page__hl__+stuck%20+loading%20+screen#entry278236

Then you had to connect to the server with these patches on and it should work.

Or your post is simply wrong, meaning this accusation is false and based on thin air? If you actually read my post you would have noticed it clearly said, and still says that I was waiting for my copy to arrive, to test this. And if you actually managed to play then yes, the patch worked fine. What happened is that you reversed your version, resulting in the game using your old ID (the one without the string so say 12345AXE became 12345). After going back to the actual ARMAX version you went back to 12345AXE and by the lost your character, as the 2 versions went out of sync. In theory you exist twice now. Matrix much?

Sure you Can connect now But!!

All above Beta 93965 will change youre Player ID with an ARMAX Version.So you will loose youre Main Character and have to start a new One.

New ID = New Char.........

If you go back to Beta 93965 the old Char is still there and fully Working ;)

I presumed it was fixed and had been tested because it said so in the release notes, Obviously it wasn't.

I presumed that just updating it would work, No mention of Matrix much in the release notes.

I read that and though ah ha ! It's been fixed :P So i updated the dayz files and the new beta patch.

(it worked with rolling back 2 beta 93965 with V 1.7.1.5 and on V 1.7.1 it worked all like it should ...for me) but now is there any hope for me??

People in Germany or near with the stuck on loading screen problem, look for the Zombie RPG DE 77 Server, this one works perfect for me.
