Died on stairs while going prone

Yesterday i had a few weird things happening to me.

The most annoying thing just made me quit until i get some sort of reply about it on the forums.

My old character died yesterday when i gone prone on stairs at one of those apartment buildings in Berezino. The effects were major loss of blood, bleeding, broken bone, uncosciousness and what i think is shock. I think my character kinda like fell through the stairs without really falling.

I played the game all evening without making any progress because none of the progress seems to have been saved on the hive server. I got session lost after few hours of playing and later disconnection and started from same place as i started playing earlier that day.

Another annoying thing i have noticed is how the character stands up while going prone at some of the doorsteps and such which can easily make u detected by the zeds. This happens for example at the doorsteps of those same apartments that got me killed yesterday.

Im hoping my character would be reverted again like that now that he is dead even tho i dont think this will happen.

I also understand that the game is still under development and bug fixing shouldnt be the priority right now, i just have to remember the bugs in the future and avoid them.

This is a common bug.

Going prone will kill you in the following ways:

- Lying on or near a tree (Sometimes?)

- Lying on top of a rock

- Crawling through a door-way

- Crawling up stairs

I can add that sometimes walking or running over a rock will get your legs broken and make you bleed... better avoid all obstacles to be sure ;)

Thanks for the replies.

I started another character today and lost connection again to the host after an hour.

I had not lost any major data from these insidents until now with the recent patches.

I feel like the game has become unplayable for me :(
