Spawning in same spot without fail.

arma2:OA steam version using Beta shortcut launcher, not steam launcher.

What happened:

after patch i logged in eventualy after having a few hiccups, my sound wasnt working at all and my UI was bugged after manuel install. i then used sixupdater and tryed some different servers and it eventualy worked.

then i went to respawn/restart/abort/ok/ok and respawn, but i spawned in the exact same place i logged out in 1.7.1.5 with all the gear i had previously. prepatch

i tryed deleteing my character and starting a new one. loading in with my new character i was still in Cherno industrial area each time i would die/create a new character, in the exact same spot.

cherno industrial area, atop one of the factories on a balcony.

trying to respawn. creating a new character.

log out, checking forums for patch 1.7.2

manualy updated to 1.7.2, didnt work, no sound, bugged UI.

used sixupdater to update, worked eventualy

died/respawned in same spot with all gear

created and deleted characters, still spawning in same spot.
