Chat problem

Hi,

i just bought this game because of this mod but now I got a problem.

The default Chat key just opens a menu on the left side of the screen but no chat box.

If I change the key to something else like "ctrl+enter" the chat box opens up but only as long as I keep pressing enter... this is really unusable. Does anybody know how to keep the chat window open?

You understand the default chat key is / right? Unless you mean VOIP?

/ would be "shift 7" as far as I know but that only opens up the menu.

Shift 7? I'm not sure I follow... By default you can just type/press the / key and it will bring up text chat.

I use a German keyboard by the way. I don't have a designated / key.

I have to press "shift + 7" to make the /

EDIT: Nevermind.. I have to press the " - " key to open the chat... ;)

Er... Okay then. I didn't know that, but it would be best just to re-assign it in the future to whatever you like! Maybe the T Key like most games do.

/ is for text chat.

But 9you have to use . to choose the channel. This is all important.

One of the first things I did was go into the options and unbind the caps lock and double caps lock VOIP commands. I bound, instead of caps lock, CTRL+F12. Never gonna accidentally do that.

I bound Left CTRL to Direct Communication. Now I will never anger a whole server by accidentally hitting caps lock. Recommended.
