Been trying for days to play but no luck

So I have been unable to play this mod yet.

When I start the game it works fine, but when I try to join a server I either see Bad version, server rejected connection or you can not play this mission, dc content has been deleted.chernarus, dayz_code, dayz_weapon and so on and so forth.

I have done about 5 reinstalls and nothing has helped. Can someone help me?

Sounds like a combination of general server issues over the past few days, and you installing DayZ and/or the Arma 2 beta patch wrong.

?How did you go about installing everything?

Well I just watched this tutorial and tried it his way and now I am getting a different error.

Now when I run it, it says Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine. This is getting rediculous

I think I am just going to uninstall steam all together and try it again in the morning. I am so frustrated I can't think straight

I believe the issue is related the steam overlay.

Ensure you have the Arma beta, the most recent update of the game and are launching from Six Launcher.
