How many bullets can you usually take before you drop? Is the weapon damage on the wiki reliable?

I was jumped by a guy today. He missed his first shot, then I hit him 6 times on his body with a PDW, but he still didn't drop...

The damage on wiki is tested.

So yes, Most assault rifles kill in three body shots.

snipers 1-2 in the chest.
