Why am I randomly switching between two characters saves?

Depending on what server I join, I am either playing a survivor I played like two days ago, or the one I have been playing today. Also, I will randomly spawn in kamenka as a new character when I join certain servers, what the hell is going on?

That sounds weird. Maybe include the server names and put it in the bug forums.

I can confirm this is happening, only it's with a single character.

On some servers I spawn with 1.4k blood dying in a cafe in cherno.

On other servers I spawn fully healed (my friend healed me on a server) in the middle of the road, between the ladder building and town hall.

Well you are not alone on this. I restarted my server and it rolled back 3 hours, at a later restart it rolled ahead 2 hours, and for the third it rolled ahead another 7 hours. All different lives, or points in a previous life with different gear and blood. It's like time travel but less exciting. =D

Mine has been doing this as well. I found out that it is linked to some servers running 1.1.7.5. Instead of an error message it lets me play on the outdated server but on a character I had been playing on for a while now. When I join a 1.7.2 server, it puts me on some random server with some character in Novy Sabor. Very strange.

happened to a friend as well yesterday. He kept switching between two positons ingame all 1-10 seconds.

I had this happen to me too. I logged out on character one, the the next day I join a server (RUS ## or similar) and have to make a new character. I thought the first one died (I was hidden in a pine tree so I found that odd) but that wasn't the case after all.

Could it be that not all servers use the main server, but their own instead, for character database or something?
