Problem joining servers..........Someon help please...

When I try to join a server it just kicks me out right away then this messages appears in red.

You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cacharacters_pmc

Hey Fade,

This is a bug that occurs with steam purchases of the game. Here's how to correct it.

1. Close steam.
   
2. Disable the DayZ mod (change start-up parameters)
   
3. Run steam as the system administrator.
   
4. Run ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA at least once, this will cause it to generate the file you're missing; because cacharacters_pmc is only generated once you have a profile in the game.
   
5. Now that the file is generated, install DayZ again and join a server! (may I recommend US 173?)

I don't use steam. I installed via Gamestop App.

Same difference; it happens for anything but the retail version of the game. Follow the same steps, just skip #1 and #3.

When I try to load ArmA2 AO this error message comes up.

Then when the game loads the menu is all glitched and has no graphics and I can't see the mouse...
