Stuck at Black Loiading Page

I am at my friends house and I am installing dayz to his computer and every time I load up dayz i get though everything then I get stuck at a loading black page. Does anyone know how this can be fix if so please help. Thanks.

Hey ld624188,

Please make sure that:

• You've installed both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA
  
• (steam only) You've run both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA at least ONCE before installing DayZ.
  
• You've installed ARMA 2 beta patch #94444.
  
• You've installed the most recent (1.7.2) version of the DayZ mod.
  
• Your issue is not server-sided (try joining different servers)

Well I downloaded it for him on Sunday it worked all day then on Monday dayz updated to 1.7.2. When i was home I updated it the same way I did his and his is just working. We both got it thought steam and I am pretty sure we both have the updated of arma not to sure I don't know how to cheek.
