Firstly, I haven't spawned with a pistol or any weapon, this is making it very difficult as a new player but mainly lag.This is my computer's specsi7 Quad Core Processor clocked at 3.4 GHz 8GB of RAMAMD 6770 Graphics Card1920x1080 MonitorFor some reason I get really bad lag even when playing on very low graphic settings. VSync is turned off, every thing is at the minimum, yet the game isn't smooth, there's loads of shuddering and lag between moving my mouse and it turning. I dunno. Guest Posted July 11, 2012 Hey Silltar,You no longer start with a weapon of any sort in DayZ, it was changed a few patches ago to combat banditry.As for your lag, a number of different problems could be the cause. Your hardware is more than powerful enough to run the game; have you tried adjusting your resolution and 3D resolution settings ingame? If they're wrong, you're gonna have a bad time. Make sure your "clocked" Cpu isn't throttling either.Any other games cause these problems?Try medium settings, V-sync enabled, etc. Play around until you get good fps.
