thefonztm@gmail.com 86 Posted July 11, 2012 I've had success with random groups. Made a handful of buddies that I team with too. The best way to do this is to give. Food, water first dibs on loot.. it all works. It's honestly a bitch to do with armed survivors. You need to almost accidentally bump into each other to get into direct comms range. But run around the coast a bit, find a fresh spawn, and help them. It's risky, but that's why it's fun.
Carl Weathers 3 Posted July 12, 2012 Yeah the problem with the game is unless you know someone before you play you have to adopt this play style. I've lost my life simply by being at the wrong place wrong time too. I really wish they went back to using bandit skins to tell the difference between players, but understand why Rocket removed it. ih8 56 Posted July 12, 2012 You are supposed to play dayz the way you would act in real life. Not be a shithead shooting everyone on sight.since when did the MOD start coming with a rule book?stop posting
Ampoliros 43 Posted July 12, 2012 Make it work for you. The hills around Cherno/Elektro are a good source of high-grade equipment from point & click trash. That is, it would be if every single one of them didn't alt-f4 out like a bitch the moment they were engaged. Herr Robert 28 Posted July 12, 2012 You are supposed to play dayz the way you would act in real life. Not be a shithead shooting everyone on sight. So I should get a basic weapon, enough food and drink to keep me alive for a while and then just hide in the forest or some sort of building for the entire playing session and only take risks when I need more? Yeah, that sounds like fun.
