Reinstalling arma 2 and OA, will it delete my character?

anybody knows?

Cause i can't hear gunshots in the game, nor can i see the hatchet.

And it's a big disadvantage, so i am trying to reinstall see if it helps.

So will my character get deleted/reset if i reinstall Arma 2+OA?

Not likely. The character is saved to your CD-Key, so as long as you continue to use the same Key, you should be under no difficulties. If anything is lost then you can blame a bug/glitch

It won't, when you reinstall games, you can most likely keep your offline save anyway. Your online character for DayZ is saved on one main server, so when you disconnect, or log out, your character is saved for you to continue your adventure.

If your going to reinstall the game I would reccomend doing a clean install of windows while your at it. It'll help your performance greatly.

Yeah I do it often as soon as I notice stuff slowing down, it makes such a difference lol
