Pjstorm12 0 Posted July 9, 2012 Just bought Combined Operations off of steam. Downloaded both games, then ran them both... ArmaII ran just fine, but when I start Operation ArrowHead I get an error box that reads: " No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'.If I click okay on that, about 20 seconds later the game seems to open, but closes quickly and I get the message:" Error compiling pixil shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 " So..... any suggestions? Remix (DayZ) 14 Posted July 10, 2012 The usual fix for this is to Launch Arma 2 once, and then Operation Arrowhead once. This removes any registry issues you are having. If this issue still persists; exit STEAM, then start STEAM via (left click select icon, right click open menu, select "run as administrator")If that fails please restart the PC.Hope I could help! Remix (DayZ) 14 Posted July 10, 2012 Open up steam, go to library, right click on Arma II Operation Arrowhead, click on properties, click on the local files tab, then click on the verify integrity of game cache button and it should fix that file for you.Run Operation Arrowhead in administrator. Remix (DayZ) 14 Posted July 10, 2012 You can't catch a break can you?! xDFrom what I've read on the Beth forum, that 1kb file that always fails to download is of no importance. Other members have stated that many Steam games have this issue.Is this error appearing when using Six Launcher? Ultimately, if you can play the game with no game-breaking bugs, ignore the errors. Remix (DayZ) 14 Posted July 10, 2012 Okay, this should fix it!Add this to your startup line again:"-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\ArmA 2;EXPANSION;ca" Restart your PC.
