css_god@yahoo.com 543 Posted May 24, 2012 I wonder if it would be possible to give people a grace period of a few seconds when they first log in where they are essentially invulnerable. Not long' date=' just 5 seconds at most, just long enough to start running if you end up near people, and long enough for them to get an eye on you.[/quote']Problem with that though is you are invulnerable even if it seems like such a short period of time. If you indeed did spawn 'near' people and they spotted you or vice versa, you could unload on them and take no damage.Obviously that is a worst case scenario but in all reality it could happen. The best thing I can think of is a dynamic spawn point such as 300 meters with player proximity detection. Honestly that would solve any of the current issues with the spawning exploits. Pat_the_Bunny 4 Posted May 24, 2012 I'm by no means a techy, so I don't know if this would even work, but what if groups were allowed to plant flags in their bases and the area around that flag became a no-spawn zone? If you log out within that distance you are spawned on the edge of the perimeter when you log back in.Yes, even members of the team who built the bases would be affected, but you wouldn't have to worry about anyone logging in behind your lines. Pat_the_Bunny 4 Posted May 24, 2012 Interesting concept' date=' I believe however whatever the spawn system is though it should be automatic and require no effort from the players.[/quote']The only effort the players would have to put in is deciding where to plant their flags.I don't know how you'd go about finding the flags though, as to many of these things in the hands of a large group of people would cause a bunch of issues.
