Omnifox 2 Posted July 9, 2012 So, I changed the -cpucount=x and -exthreads=x back to 1 for both, got a BIT more stability, however its not completely stable. There is still something in 1.7.2 that is destabilizing the server.
TR1GGA187 0 Posted July 9, 2012 Ok, worth a try. How long is your server staying up for?
LeetServers 0 Posted July 9, 2012 Were the server files pulled? I don't see them on the CDN, only the hive.-Diane

tetra 0 Posted July 9, 2012 After updating my server to 1.7.2 I noticed there may be something wrong. There are heavy CPU and network I/O spikes occurring at the same time. I did some investigation and figured out that it *MAY* be connected to something strange:Whenever a player looks around with ALT pressed and a gun equipped (tested in 3rd person) the network and CPU I/O exponentially spikes.May this be related to the new ammo tracking code? I don't know... Just wanted to let you know.PS: I did lock the server for some minutes to verify this without too much background noise. Neither was anyone harmed doing this nor did I benefit in any way. ;)
