Updating Mod version

Guys,

I am talking as someone who has never done this before.

Do i just download the latest Mod files (1.7.2) and place them into the 'Addons' folder?

Will i remove the old ones first or overwrite?

I would like to have an answer of some sort in this matter also. That's exactly what i did, downloaded from the torrent link as forums assigned me to for the 1.7.2, had the new files, i threw em up in my Arma 2 OA @Dayz/Addons folder, and just overwrited the old ones.

That's how i thought it would work out the easiest, but i have no idea is it working. I'm still having the same error as everyone else, jamming for the character creation, and on the bottom right corner of the gamescreen it shows 1.6xxxx on version for some reason.

That's your operation arrowhead version, it should be 1.60.XXXXXX where XXXXX is your beta patch number
