yamiks 6 Posted July 9, 2012 so i've played your mod for a while now.. and i know that its only alpha but here is some of my ideas , suggestions and bug report: bugs: ...... 1. if you are in house and zombie is near and even if you are in prone and if you move and zombie is right next to point where you are it will see you and will start running towards to you. ...... 2. if you are prone in any place and you stand up while zombie is next to you it won't see you....... 3. there are some "safe zones" as i like to call them where zombies just cant stand on! : ......... *docks(any) ......... *some warehouses ......... *train station platforms ...... 4.make it so zombies does see you if not only hear you!...... 5.in night if you trow flare zombies will go for it BUT could you make please some distraction item like rock(also it would be nice if you could use flares,empty cans,wood that already is in game) to trow at daytime and it would create noise and zombies could go and look for it, meanwhile you could scavenge....... 6.zombies sometimes spawn in houses/train stations/warehouses and doesn't move at all(only if you use flares in nights or you rune near them....... 7. when you try to put double barreled shotgun or lee enfield in your backpack they just disappear thanks for good mod and keep up the good work yours truly Yamiks(this is repost .. but what ever..) yamiks 6 Posted July 10, 2012 1 is for fact that zombies can somehow see you or hear you if you are in house(that is if you both are right next to each other and there is only wall separating you) 2 it happens all the time 4 ok its like this : once you have stand up from prone and zombie is very near from you it will only hear you not see..so as long as you dont make any sound youll be ok..but you could make it so that if you are in zombies line of sight it slowly changes his path -> towards you 8. in small towns like balota, kamenka ..and others there are a lot more zombies per square meter than they are in chernogorsk or electro..smith..so basically i would like that you make big cities more dangerous not easier(besides in apocolypse thats how it would be) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
omgwtfbbq (DayZ) 1069 Posted July 10, 2012 yeah, it's really annoying when a zombie spawns ON TOP of something good in a building, and it refuses to move. the only solution is to find a can, or throw a flare. press F to switch weapons. your current weapon is indicated in the top right of the screen.
