Why do my bones break?

As the topic says, what is the actual reason that the zombies break my leg from a hit? i assume that the zombie damage code is just a scaled down pistol shot to the leg with highly reduced damage, i guess it still has the chance to break your bone but i have no idea as to why i walk into some barbed wire and snap a bone? if anyone has answers to this that would be good <3

Hahahaha, I like the idea of calcium tablets lol, I am just wondering if it is because of the way zombies do damage in the game, I assume they use a damage file from a pistol with scaled down damage that would still have the random chance to break a bone, i guess the fix would be to write a damage/attack code for the zombies standalone rather that a mod damage file, but meh its alpha i can live with it
