Remove the pseudo-dynamic weather script

Recommended Posts

I think they put in the fog so bandits wouldnt sit on a mountain overlooking a big town (for example' date=' the big hill near the factory at elektro) and kill people easily with sniper..

I'm sure. I've only gotten it that way once, steps away from spawning on the coast.

That's ok, the sniper attracts a mother load of zombies anyway and if he misses you can tell where he is, plus there'll be no sympathy for those caught sniping at the tree line, I suppose you could just hit town Via the tree line and look for bandits

It is better but the view distance is still too low IMHO. For a mod that wants to be "realistic" this sure is a very "game'y" feature.

There is almost no point in having binoculars or a scope at the moment.

Speak for yourself. Even with the fog I was using a scope to pinpoint activity before approaching a town.

Hey guys, here's a radical thought: since the game tracks the real world's time AND date, why not have the weather in the game dependent upon the actual current weather in the region the map is based on??? A little more complicated to implement, but definitely more realistic than some pseudo-random weather script.

And yes, I'm all for removing the fog on clear days.
