XAM 48 Posted July 9, 2012 How do I update to 1.7.2 now when it's released? Atleast the server I'm playing on is running 1.7.2 now so I'm guessing it's released?Six Launcher just verifies my 1.7.1.5 files, it doesn't update.
moleculor 0 Posted July 9, 2012 1.7.2 isn't out yet for the public. You're staring at a server doing the closed testing. (Closed testing in an Alpha is strange.)
XAM 48 Posted July 9, 2012 1.7.2 isn't out yet for the public. You're staring at a server doing the closed testing. (Closed testing in an Alpha is strange.)That's weird. Cause I was able to play on it with 1.7.1.5, even though it gave me the wrong version thingy. I spawned as a new character though.Wouldn't a closed test have password protection? moleculor 0 Posted July 9, 2012 Sure, if you expect people to think ahead that far, though perhaps part of the testing is to see what happens if people with old versions try to connect. It probably wipes their characters, but they want to see if it crashes the server, or if you can break things while using an older version.Go in and try and break stuff! That's what alpha testing is for! Maybe you can walk through walls, or something crazy.

banshee 6 Posted July 11, 2012 Exactly 1.7.2 is not on SIX since it's not public, but in some sort of a closed testing stage. That's why.
