Finding Out Where I Am

Recommended Posts

How the hell I find out where my player is? I'm using an online map but as I've only just started I have no idea which town I'm in, any tips on figuring out where I am then?

you can respawn, & pay close attention to the bottom right hand side of the screen where it acutally tells you, or, I find road signs quite handy..

Try to find a sign that will tell you what town your in.

If not, using the online map just try to link your surroundings to the map(lootable buildings etc).

I also believe you can log out then back in and it will tell you the area.

When you first spawn in, it tells you what town or city you're close to.

If you missed that, the sun always goes West to East, so you can easily find North/South.

Once you have an idea of North, look for landmarks, pay attention to the topography of the area, road signs, powerlines and train tracks.

After awhile, you'll just know where you are.. :)

Definitely what Cyanyde said, take note of your location in the lower-right hand side when you just start the game. Once you find that name on the map, you can generally find out where you are by contour lines and road curves. I'll have a "How to Find Where You Are" guide on the GuideZ channel today or tomorrow.

Also, run to East or West and check for the signs that show the name of the cities. That way you'll know where you are.
