Fix corpses disappearing on disconnect

Recommended Posts

Okay, I've been hunting snipers in the hills surrounding Elektro. The latest bandit fad seems to be going to the coast and sniping flashlight warriors, so there has been an abundance of snipers lately.

So I figured this could be very profitable for me and score me some good karma as well. So I wait on the other side of the hill overlooking the town and wait for sniper fire, I then creep up behind them and kill them, clean shot to the back of the head in most instances.

They can see that their character has gone limp so they go with their first instinct. ALT-F4!

Even though the message pops up that they were killed, and I can see blood spurting out of the hole in their head their body disappears, robbing me of the loot that is rightfully mine.

No, it's not lag. No, I am not a shitty shot.

I've racked up a kill count of about 30 so far. It's happened with every single person I've killed. That's right, I've been robbed of enough gear to supply an entire clan with high tier long range death dealing weaponry.

The only reason I'm still camping this god damned hill is because I have a small glimmer of hope that one of these dicks will take their death like a champ and I can finally head up to NWAF where the real action is to be found.

TL;DR

Fix corpses disappearing on disconnect, 30 trips to the NWAF worth of gear lost, very butthurt snipe hunter.

I hope they fix this too. Hear flies everywhere but no loot.

And, I salute you! I don't know whether you have banditry intentions, but stalking noob-snipers is an honourable mission!

I shoot on sight because I have learned the hard ways not to trust anyone. Every time I kill a poor bastard I can hear that flies are there but the loot's gone!!

Interesting tendency. There's a hill to snipe Electro from. Then there's that position to snipe that very hill. Then another position will emerge that overlooks the previous one. By that way we can build a chain of counter-counter-snipers that goes as far as NWAF.
