Does heli crash site loot respawn?

So I just found my first crash site but it only had a DMR mag and some empty tin cans. i picked it all up and killed all the zeds 3 times, but the loot doesnt seem to come back.

does it even respawn?

The loot within a helicopter crash site respawns upon server restart!

and so does the crash site ;)

so basically a downed helo only spawns loot once? i almost cant believe that, because so many ppl talk about great gear they found there, and they could've not always been the first ones there.

If they do, it's way slower than mil spawns. I cleared out a heli site yesterday to test this and eventually I just left as I got bored waiting for respawn. I even killed the whole zed spawn a couple times...
