GTAForums DayZ Server - Admin abuse - NILDER

Server: GTAForums DayZ Server

Time: 1:20-1:45 BST (GMT+ 1 I think)

What happened: I and Sheldomaus who can be heard in the video below were playing on this server when we got kicked for no reason, we repeatedly joined and were kicked every time (5+ times), the other two players also never got kicked so I suspect they were playing with the admin:

Try and join yourself, I bet you will get kicked.

I can confirm Vulwulf's statement as well. I joined the server and played for about 10 minutes before getting kicked. I tried to join again and got kicked almost instantly. i did this over and over again to the point where as soon as i joined the player lobby i would get kicked. Curt, Dylan, and NILDER stayed in the server the entire time.

Hello gents i pay for that server on behalf of gtaforums. This is rather worrying im the only server admin and i will always log in as oysterbarron when im on the server! The ping kick setting is set to 300 but i have had reports from some members that even with a ping of 600 they can still play fine. The server has been active for almost a month now and apart from once accidentally hitting the kick button instead of dissconnect button ive never used my admin abilitys to kick anyone for any reason as i know how much trouble it causes admins.

Well i think this needs further investigation by the dayz mod team as like i said its pretty worrying that this occured on the server when i wasnt even present.

UPDATE:

Ok ive just gone through my communications with the multiplay tech support and it appears it was the hosting company and they have a curt on there team so i imagine it was them sorting out some of the teething problems the server had at the beggining.
