casabolg 0 Posted May 17, 2012 So here is my situation:-Steam copies of the purchased ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead and the free ARMA 2 demo-Made a @DayZ folder in the A2OA file in the steam program files and an Addons folder within that-Copied all links from http://armafiles.info/dayz/ and extracted all .rar files into the addons folder and only the addons folder in the order they are listed-Right click ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead on Steam and click "Launch ARMA2: Combined Operations"-Gave runs but once I try to join a room I get told I can't because the room is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus.I don't honestly know if this has been brought up and I will look if it has but I wanted to get this out there in the meantime. Capsup 0 Posted May 17, 2012 Use this one: http://www.arma2.com/freeand once you install that one, copy it's 'Addons' folder into your steam OA folder, the same folder that your @dayz folder resides in. It fixed it for me.
colonel_black 0 Posted May 17, 2012 Install the Arma 2 free' date=' not a demo :) Then it should work fine[/quote']On steam, if you search ARMA 2 Free, it'll go to the ARMA 2 page and you install the demo. Then you copy the addons from that to ARMA 2 OA
Smashthest 0 Posted June 18, 2012 Arma2 OA already has an Addons folder, and there can't be two folder in OA with the same name. Should the Arma 2 free Addons folder be renamed?
