Admin Abuse seattle 118

Me and my squad had just left the NW airfield. We found a few tents that had some cool looking military guns in it. Mk14 or something like that. We then went to cherno for medical supplies and to work on tactics. While at the hospital with the apartments a guy named donuts came by, my friend dispactched him while he reloaded his lee enfield to shoot at us. Then he came back he was dispatched again. Then he began talking over blufor chat about how he wanted to talk to us he was friends with the admin and was going to have us all banned for hacked weapons? I was going to talk to him and a guy in my squad who was afk came back and shot him before i had the chance. He then said we had ten minutes to email someone and within 60 sec banned one of us. Then while we were going to berezino threw the woods we were all banned. I had only a m102 shotgun and a makarov and was banned.

What i want is to see proof from the admins that my entire squad had hacked items. If they were hacked im sorry but we found the gun in a tent on YOUR server how the hell were we supposed to no? Other then that there were 6 of us. You werent going to survive regardless. Thanks for abusing your powers though. Following is the response i got from the Admin of seattle 118.

Five people were banned today for hacked weapons. Scar's to be exact.

In-game those people were given a chance to talk, and they ignored it. As a result, one person was immediately banned. Later after going through logs, four more people were banned. Those 5 people's GUID's/IP's have been banned from Seattle 118 as of now.

Also as of right now, Day Z staff do NOT have that info. Realistically though, they should.

If you have a FRAPS video, please email me a youtube link or a download link and I will look into what happened, but I am telling you and whoever else right now, that there was an opportunity to talk and there was no response from anyone.

So, if people want to give an account of what happened, how they got the items, where they got the items, when they got the items, etc, I will listen.

As far as a way to talk..I was typing in direct chat the whole time. I didnt even no what BluFOr was until after i was banned, this is why i miss side chat i cant talk to anyone anymore.

You sure all the weapons you had were all items that normally spawn in the game the weapons you got from the tent could of been hacked in. Check the wiki (http://dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Weapons ) for a list of weapons that spawn in the game.

This is the first time ive heard of a wiki item list. Hmm..Yea the gun we had i guess was hacked..We didnt no tho..the game doesnt require me to check a wiki every time i grab a gun.

Im sorry this happened but it does seem abuse like. I asked in direct chat if he wanted to join us as well. Jack the guy banned did not have a scar it was a m something a silenced rifle.

Please see MY account of what happened below... the fact you are already distorting facts (which ironically would have no bearing on your ban either way...) is already disturbing.

Right off the bat your story is full of it...

Ok' date=' my account of what happened...

I was running through Cherno and I had some zombies in chase. I was holding an enfield and thought I'd run to the apartments in Cherno and attack them when they came in the building. As I get close to the building, I see a lit flare in front of it. I then start taking single round silenced fire and I hid behind the building. Zombies are already on my tail so I start shooting them. After I killed the zombies I bandage up and bring out my gun again. As that happens, a player in camo comes around the corner and kills me. Before I die, I notice his gun is definitely not a Day Z weapon.

So, I figure he set up a trap with the flare and is still hiding by for an ambush. I respawn a few times, finally get by Cherno, and run back since I have tags on and I want to see who has the hacked weapon. As I am nearby I die again, same silenced sniper fire.

OK, well, third time's a charm?

So, respawn a few times, go back and this time stealth over. What do I see? Not one guy, but quite a few of them. So, in global chat (admin global) I tell them I know someone has hacked weapons and I want to talk. If they don't want to talk, they can be banned now. So, I stealth behind the building I see them in, and in direct chat start trying to talk to them letting them know to talk to me in direct (that was what I was then using). No answer. Gave them several chances, no answer. Finally, I announce I am coming into the building/infront and that I want to talk to them.

I walk out front, see four guys, one of them is holding a hacked weapon, and upon seeing me (no, I am not making this up...) he turns around 180 degrees so his back is facing me. Then, one of the four kills me with what I think was M16 fire. Before I died I saw the name of the guy with the hacked weapon.

I then respawn, and in admin global tell them I saw four of them, but only saw one hacked weapon so that guy is the only one getting the ban. I also say that if he doesn't want to stay banned he needs to email me @ seattle118@gmail.com to explain what happened.

NOW, it's VERY important to note I did NOT see any of the other names of the players. The only player's name I saw was the guy with the hacked weapon.

So, I went searching for his name in the logs after I banned him and found this: SCAR_H_CQC_CCO_SD

So, I then started searching logs and found FOUR others that had a "SCAR_H_CQC_CCO_SD" when they LOGGED INTO THE SERVER.

So, they got bans too.

That's my story and that's what happened.

No logs dont but Admins do. Im not playing on your server. You had my ventrillo man you could have come and talked to me anytime..

At this point im assuming you were out of range of my direct chat because i said. "Do you want to join us?" and a few other things. i was also screaming at my guys to stop shooting at you. THen i got banned while i had a shotgun and a makarov. Ive talked to you personally in ventrillo and i kno your a cool guy. Srry for causing you problems have a nice day.

As for the bans, I went strictly at logs and not names except for the guy I physically saw (I believe "Jack^" or something).

Like I told you in PM, I would be MORE than happy to post the logs for ANY of you guys. I know they are busy, but I'll put my server on the line getting blacklisted to show upon Day Z staff verification that the logs are legit.

Cool. Like i said srry for the trouble we caused you from weapons we found on your server. Also like i said at the TIME of being banned had a shotgun and a makarov. You should have come in my vent and talked to me man. I dont hack otherwise i would have flown around in a chopper. Cmon.

How about you ban the people spawning the hacked guns in your server? Instead of the people who find them and have no idea there hacked. =/

I dont want your server black listed your a cool guy. Hell if youd been urbanfox instead of donuts youd been right there with us having a blast in cherno..Once again srry for the trouble and for everyone reading this post dont not go to seattle 118 just dont loot any of the tents NW airfield area.

I didn't know who was doing the hacking or carrying the weapons or if they were associated with you guys or not. All I saw was a guy carrying the weapon' date=' I found out his name, banned him, and banned anyone else in logs I saw carrying them.

Last time we spoke in vent and through PM the guy having issues was Michael or something. I didn't remember your name nor anyone elses I banned today if I met them previously.

Like I said before, if someone could PM me from your group with the names of everyone involved, when you found the stuff, where you found the stuff, and any details, that would be great.

Hopefully from our previous experience before you saw that I'm not out to get anyone, just trying to do my job and protect the server. I banned the first guy for having the gun and not responding in direct and I banned the next four purely off the scar script line found in the logs.

That's why I continually asked in admin global for someone to talk to me.

From my point of view, I see hacked weapon, I try to open a line of communication, and instead I get no communication and shot and killed.

That was when the first ban appeared and the next four shortly after that when I found more SCAR's in the logs. At no point did anyone email me during this whole ordeal even after the first ban then the next four bans was issued, despite me posting email in global admin channel asking someone to email me.

So, once again, if someone could PM me with the names of everyone involved, when you found the stuff, where you found the stuff, and any details, that would be great.
